Happy Drink Sachets

Alinan® Happy Drink® is recommended to breastfed babies and small children in order to relieve the abdominal colic, regulate the intestinal transit and calm the discomfort and agitation that appear in different stages of development: tooth eruption, administration of vaccines etc. Alinan® Happy Drink® may be used as well as tea between meals.
The abdominal colic is encountered in almost half of the babies, regardless of the fact that they are bottle-fed or breastfed. It can be appreciated that a baby has colic when he cries loudly, flushes, shows a tense expression because of the abdominal cramps, has his legs tight on his chest and clenched fists. Colic starts at about three weeks of age and disappear at about three months old. There are situations when this period extends over three months. Administered when needed, Alinan® Happy Drink® (2 – 4 sachets per day) removes the irritability and malaise, ensuring a restful sleep which is no longer interrupted by painful episodes.

Food diversification may lead to discomfort due to the digestive disturbances like: bloating, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea and abdominal cramps which manifest till the organism gets used to the new type of food. To eliminate the digestive symptomatology, including the regulation of the bowel movement, 2 – 4 sachets of Alinan® Happy Drink® are recommended daily for 4 – 5 days.

At a certain point, the baby should be get used to drop the nighttime feedings. Alinan® Happy Drink® comes to help the parents, by replacing the nighttime feeding with Alinan® Happy Drink® (1 – 2 sachets); the child will get used to night weaning and will have a restful sleep.

Mode of administration:

Baby colic: 1 – 3 sachets per day, between meals, for 3 months. For children under 1 month old, only 1 sachet is administered. Thecontentof1sachetisdissolvedinwaterandadministeredbetweenmeals,splitinmultipledoseswithinaday.

Agitation and discomfort caused by vaccination, teeth eruption etc.: 2 – 4 sachets daily, when needed. regulation of bowel movement: 2 – 4 sachets daily for 4 – 5 days; if the symptoms persist, ask the pediatrician. giving up the night meal: 1 – 2 sachets per night.

Before administration, the content of the sachet is dissolved in approximately 50 ml water, previously boiled and cooled at room temperature, or in plain water, until a clear solution is obtained. The solution, depending on the child’s necessities, can be administered all at once or divided in multiple doses during a day. No sweetening is needed.
